Description
Electric Oven 8 ECO Digital – High-Capacity Chimney Cake Baking Oven
The Electric Oven 8 ECO Digital is a high-capacity, single-phase chimney cake oven equipped with two vertical heating elements, allowing you to bake eight Kürtőskalács per batch—four on each side of the heating elements.
A digital thermostat is included as standard, offering precise temperature control. This feature is essential for vendors who bake different product sizes or offer both sweet and savoury variations, each requiring specific baking temperatures for optimal results.
At the back of the oven, eight individual motors rotate each cooking roll automatically beside the heating elements, ensuring an even and consistent bake with no manual turning required.
Each side of the oven features a stainless-steel framed door with a heat-reflective glass window, enabling you to monitor the baking process easily. This special glass helps reduce the outer door temperature and significantly improves energy efficiency by containing heat within the oven.
Heat-resistant Bakelite knobs at the base of each door ensure safe and easy opening during operation.
Baking Tip:
Because heat rises, always load the oven from the bottom upward. Using this method removes the need to reposition the cooking rolls during baking, ensuring the products cook evenly from start to finish without changing positions. If you’re new to the oven, begin by testing how long your Kurtos take to bake fully. The optimal baking time for a traditional standard Kurtos (approximately 180g of dough) is 5–6 minutes, whereas baking a cone (100g of dough) should be around 4-5 minutes. If baking takes much longer than this, increase the temperature; if it finishes in under 4 minutes, lower the temperature, as baking too quickly can result in undercooked or raw dough.
⚠️ Power Supply Recommendation:
For optimal performance, plug the Electric Oven 8 ECO Digital directly into a stable mains electricity supply. Avoid using generators or long extension cords, as insufficient power may prevent the oven from reaching the necessary temperature—leading to slower baking and incomplete sugar caramelisation, which affects topping adhesion.

- Our equipment is built in Europe to a high standard & our oven’s & grills are made for commercial use & are hard-wearing.
- Electric heating elements are consumable parts & have a life span of around 2500 – 3000 hours. Some customers keep a couple of spare electrical heating elements for their baking machines at their location as spare parts.
- Finally, if you take care of your baking machine, it should last. Common user errors which can damage the baking machines are:
– Removing the cooking rolls incorrectly & damaging the motors (ask for link to video showing how to remove correctly).
– Setting the target temperature too high (over what we recommend) on the Electric machines & then leaving the appliance empty, causing the heating element(s) to burn out prematurely.
– Applying far too much sugar and / or oil to the Kurtos dough resulting in excess ingredients falling down during baking.
– Not cleaning the baking machine properly, allowing a build-up of burnt sugar / ingredients.
